An interesting line from a poem by W.H. Auden, "In Praise of Limestone." When we have a hunger for something, we don't always have to wait until we have the money or the time to purchase it. Instead, we can create it ourselves. In this case, Auden is praising limestone as a building material because it is cheap and easy to create. But he uses the second stanza to talk about how sometimes we have a need that doesn't have a solution right now -- but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't keep searching for solutions anyway.
